  1. The trouble with most genealogy sites is that they depend on the mormon database and they allow anyone to put in their two cents worth without verifying. I’ve found children older than their parents…on several family trees.

  2. Too funny, but then again, if you are really interested in gathering names of people to ‘baptize’ into your faith after their death , what does accuracy matter?

    1. Seems like it doesn’t matter at all. I have wondered what they get out of all the additions of dead people.

  3. The first rule in genealogy is verify! My grandfather’s name was Leander or Leeander or Lee Ander. He was named for an uncle Leander. In the census he is Leonard and in the next Lee Andrew. Now it is all over ancestry.com that his name was Leonard Andrew! No way to convince them. I’ve tried.
