  1. I hope in listing Alabama Pioneers you did not leave out Enoch Alldredge. The Alldredge family from Blount, Alabama came in early and sacrificed much.
Thank you. I read your newsletter every day and buy your books.
    God Bless You.

    1. Thanks Vickie.

  2. Donna, My 2nd great grandfather, Samuel Lowery b 1814 in Sequatchie Valley TN, moved to McClarty AL in 1836 from Sequatchie Valley TN. I have a copy of an article he wrote where he states he was born and raised in Sequatchie Valley until he moved his young family to Alabama in 1836. He died in 1896 and had 20 kids and 105 grand kids. One kid wasn’t even married so I don’t know if he had kids or not so he may have had more than 105 grandkids. I would like to buy any books you may have that has any information about him in it. I have tons of documentation on his life in Alabama but zero information on his life in Sequatchie Valley except for a marriage record to Peremely Smith. She died in Alabama and he married Elizabeth Byrd.

  3. I clicked on the https: above (in blue) and was taken to a site that said my phone was now infected with malware and then did a countdown saying I had to click on another site or my phone would have permanent damage. I instead shut down my phone.

    1. Susan Hammond I too have had this same problem several times and it’s only when Iam on the Alabama Pioneer site. I really enjoy the page and hope there are no problems

  4. I look forward reading the Alabama Patron. My paternal ancestors lived near the Alabama – Mississippi State line (Melvin AL).
