  1. I took a genealogy course and the Instruter said there were no white men living in Alabama when it was Mississippi Indian Territory because it was against the law. LOL, my ancestors proved him wrong.

  2. I remember quite a few similar old houses in quite a few places when I was very young (and that was after the Civil War by the way).

  3. Stuart Harris knows a little about Perry County, lots of history there.

  4. My grandma always told me that the old cabin that is enclosed in my old farm house had a sign nailed on it by the previous owners about that time . GTT gone to texas.
