BiographiesNews - from the past & the presentUncategorized

Whew! I’m excited to announce that it is finally complete!

At last, I finally completed the first volume! Be the first to own your copy!

The hard-copy publication of my Ebook, Biographies of Notable Not-so-Notable Alabama Pioneers Volume I took awhile, but it is now available for purchase from the publisher.

This book includes the genealogy and biography of William Barrett Travis of Alamo fame and his Alabama connection along with Elisha Cottingham, who descended from the Cottingham’s in the Tapestry of Love, Historical Fiction Series. This Cottingham family was also mentioned in the best-selling novel, Slavery by Another Name,  by Douglas A. Blackmon.

For a limited time

For a limited time  the hard-copy will only be available from the publisher at this link, Biographies of Notable Not-so-Notable Alabama Pioneers Volume I , but soon it will be available online at this link on, Barnes and Noble or Books A Million. You will have to make a direct request at other local retail stores or local libraries. (Show the publisher page which provides the ISBN number and ask them to order it for you.)  The Ebook version of Biographies of Notable Not-so-Notable Alabama Pioneers Volume I is available now.

Will continue if a good response

Many people have asked for hard-copy versions of AP’s more than 80 ebooks, but since a hard-copy version takes considerable time to format, I’ve simply not found the time to justify formatting all of them as hard-copies. Biographies of Notable Not-so-Notable Alabama Pioneers Volume I is the first, and if there is a good response, I will to continue formatting other E books.

Updated with photographs and links

The Ebook form of Biographies of Notable Not-so-Notable Alabama Pioneers Volume I, has been updated with a new cover, photographs, and links to more sources of information, including burial sites. (Note: – both the Ebook version and hard-copy version have the updates)
