Hi Donna. You have mistakingly put Lewis’s death date as 1845 and Nettie’s as 1864in the first paragraph.

I am related through his marriage to Antonette Irene “Nettie” Oden who died 9 Jan 1920 . She is the daughter of my 3rd great aunt, Charlotte Charity Funderburg(h)

  The paragraph is a direct quote from Notable Men of Notable Men of Alabama: Personal and Genealogical, Volume 1 written by Joel Campbell Dubose in 1904. I believe he was referring to death dates of Beasant Crumpler and his wife Elizabeth Wright, grandfather of Major Lewis Henry Crumpler though I admit it isn’t clear.
