Don’t waste time by repeating research

Don’t waste time and money doing genealogy research others have completed. In my personal genealogy research, I often spent days in courthouses, libraries and cemeteries as well as considerable expense copying records only to discover that I was following in another researcher’s footsteps. I could have saved myself time, effort and a lot of money if I’d only known of this research earlier.

  1. HI,
I just got one of your books,
alabama Footprints. I wonder if any of your books would have stories about Armstrongs who settled in
Wilcox County, ALA, circa 1830-1840. Thomas Armstrong married a Rachel Cooper in 1804 in Duplin county, NC. when they left NC. They may have spent some time in GA/ I believe it was a son of theirs who married a Millie House and they had quite a few children. Including maybe 6 Armstrong sons; one of whom is my gggrandfather, Ramsey Clark Armstrong. On another side there was a Beverly Crawford who married a McRoberts in Huntsville, ALA circa 1830. Thank you! Georgeann Johnson

    1. I don’t have much on Wilcox County in the current books but should have more in the future. Thanks for the purchase!

  2. My GGGGG grandfather.

  3. What a surprise to see this! I am a descendant of Nicholas Baggett, Sr.

  4. Trust but verify. All research is not good research. I never add someone to my tree without verifying the info of others.

  5. Diane Baggett, Juanita Baggett

  6. Thank you, Kenneth said: He didn’t remember him. LOL.
    Thanks for sharing.
