I am a proud descendant of Benjamin Arnold, my 5-great grandfather. The spelling for Ann I found in my research was Hendrick. I’ve been to their homesite near Greenville, SC. He was a descendant of Anthony Arnold, who helped Nathaniel Bacon burn Jamestown (twice), and was hanged by the British. It was called Bacon’s Rebellion.
