In Selma it is against the law to put a lit firecracker under the Sheriff’s car even if it is Halloween.

It was not in Montgomery, but about 50 years ago while horseback riding a lady spooked my horse when she opened her umbrella. Nearly caused a bad accident, so I understand how that law might have come about.
Ha Ha. Try it with chickens. It’s very funny.
Also apparently unlawful to use turn signals.
