  1. Cool Story. I am the namesake of Elizabeth Cain Musgrove. (My Dad’s Aunt Betty.) She had the monument to the Confederate Soldiers erected in Jasper’s town square. Her son, L.B. Musgrove was quite a rascal… a well- respected rascal with stories to tell! He used to own Dauphine Island but lost it in deal on a train ride to New York. He used it as collateral for a loan. Defaulted on the loan. Oh well. He was also a partner in the infamous Bangor Cave Speak Easy. His arrest was in the papers. Fun family! Thanks for the article.
