One name left out of the early settlers was Teague. My 3rd great grandfather settled in the area in the late 1820’s. His name was James Jefferson Teague. He owned the land where the Anniston Public Library is now.
I wish I loved history back in school like I do now. Our past and the people in it are very interesting to read about.
