MORTGAGE SALE

Whereas William T. Holley and wife Fannie M. Holley did on the 23rd day of November 1905, execute and deliver to the British & American Mortgage Company Limited, a certain mortgage deed of lands therein described, in Crenshaw County, State of Alabama, to secure the payment of the sum of $3,500.00 which said mortgage deed is recorded in the office of the Probate Judge of Crenshaw county in said State, in Book 67 of Page 69 to which reference is hereby made; and whereas default has been made in the payment of the moneys secured by said mortgage; Notice is hereby given, that under and by virtue of the power of sale contained in said mortgage, the undersigned, the British & American Mortgage Company, Limited, on Monday the 3rd day of February 1908, in front of the Court House in the Town of Luverne, County of Crenshaw, State of Alabama, will sell at public auction to the highest bidder for cash, within the legal hours of sale, the following described property, situated in said Crenshaw County, State of Alabama, viz: S E ¼ of section Twenty-three (23), N ½ of N W ¼ of N E ¼ of Section Twenty-six (26), N W ¼ of Section Twenty-four (24) less five (5) acres in the N E corner of S E ¼ of N. W ¼ conveyed to J. T. Davis, the N W ¼ of S W ¼, N ½ of N E ¼, of S W ¼, the N W ¼ of N E qr., the N ½ of N E qr. of N. E. qr Section Twenty-four (24) and S E qr of S W qr Section Thirteen (13) all in Township Ten (10) Range Seventeen (17) Crenshaw County, Ala., containing five hundred (500) acres more or less.

This sale will be made to satisfy the debt secured by said mortgage, and such title will be conveyed as is vested in the parties to said mortgage.
