RECIPE WEDNESDAY – Citron Cream from 1900

CITRON CREAM

Make a custard of one pint milk, the yolks of three eggs, one cup of sugar and one teaspoonful of corn starch.

When cold add one pint of cream, one-half cup finely chopped citron, the beaten whites of three eggs; tint a pale green and freeze.
